« Overall was better than expected although the window of n my room was small, high up & made the room cell like. The toiletries were good quality, the room looked nice & breakfast was nice reasonable although they had no vegetarian sausages. Although the rooms decor was good overall there were 2 things that let it down, firstly there was nowhere to hang anything as the wardrobe had no hangers and there was no hook behind the door for a coat, secondly & more importantly the bed was terrible...

« Very agreeable staff. Very clean and excellent self catering kitchen and dining room. Excellent central quiet location. Obviously dormitory sleeping has it’s draw backs but all quests very quiet and thoughtful. Great chance to chat with people from all over the world. »

WiFi was there but couldn’t open applications, so a bit frustrating when trying to plan a re-route in the morning, because although I booked the hotel with the same name “The board Inn” in Whitby, and on my confirmation the map showed the Whitby hotel but “Hotels.com” booked the hotel with the same name in “Hawes”!! « Great location, easy to walk to north beach but also, town centre and south beach are close enough to walk to. For the price I paid I wasn’t expecting too much but this guesthouse has everything you might need and more for a few days away, it’s very clean and the rooms are spacious and well organised. The staff was super nice and my double bed was one of the best I’ve ever slept on! I would definitely go back! »

« Was nice I stayed with family for two nights but so much loud noises floor is cranking ,building needs TLC def other wise it’s good there a park behind if u have small children then would love it . parking is a bit tight but you can park off roads too over all it was ok »

« For solo traveller like me, the facilities, mostly everything was good. I like the pantry the most and the shared toilets and bathrooms were clean at anytime. This place is quiet. The halal fast food shops, the Muslim friendly shop, even Tesco are just walking distance. »
