« Staff were super friendly. Our room was a ground level & it was quiet, clean & comfortable. Lovely view out to the river. The motel overall is showing signs of its age, but we were happy with our stay. Lovely walk along the riverside into town (not too far, but far enough that you're away from the crowds). Rates are a bit steep, but Bright is super popular & so it's to be expected given the demand. »

« I had to stay overnight here as I was travelling for work. Bendigo was fully booked because of a Basketball Tournament. Was really awesome to see the Pub full of young hard working blokes and Cow girls. They looked like we're all enjoying a beer after a hard days work. It was Awesome to see locals supporting locals. »

« What a fantastic place to stay in Beechworth!! A lovely old hotel with very friendly and helpful staff, this place was incredible value. I only stayed one night but will definitely stay here again next time I visit Beechworth. The room was small but comfortable and it's very quiet despite being upstairs at a big pub. The bathrooms are outside the rooms and very clean. Highly recommend! »

« Out of season so didn't see any staff. Everything worked so great, great views, enjoyed the spa, but it makes too much noise overnight, turned it off at the switchboard and suggested my neighbour do the same. »

« This accomodation is somewhat faded. Clean and comfortable beds and the heating is good (critical for a winter stay), but the pots/pans/stovetop in the kitchen needed better cleaning and towelrails were missing in the bathroom. Finding someone at reception was tricky too, and it would be good with a mobile number was on clear display at the front desk. »

« Beechworth is a terrific town with numerous features. The unit we had needed some TLC. For example, all of the taps in the cabin needed attention, no light over the stove, and the exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work. »

« We arrived with other tenants from the 3 bedder (apartment B) in our 1 bedder room (apartment A). There wasn’t much an apology from the manager but her frustration towards the other tenants who made the mistake and her cleaners who probably left apartment A unlocked. The manager couldn’t reach her cleaners so she asked the tenants who made the mistake to rectify their mistakes by changing the linen. We were not happy with the service but were told that there’s essentially no difference whether...
